We're looking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for the cross-functional planning and execution of new assay launches within our Genomics business, primarily focused on oncology.

What You’ll Do

  • Opportunity to lead operational excellence within a large cross-functional team
  • Contribute to the development and launch of a portfolio of projects, including new laboratory developed tests (LDTs) and new operational workflows
  • Collaborate with leaders across a variety of disciplines (Clinical Lab, Medical Affairs, Product, Operations, Customer Success, Marketing) to implement new features and assay launches for our Oncology business
  • Own stakeholder communication, expectations management, timelines, and the end-to-end project plan for assay development
  • Propose and build new workflows to solve problems and support operational needs within the internal operations, lab and medical teams
  • Identify, design, and implement continuous improvements to our assay launch playbook; maintain a strong feedback loop so that each subsequent launch is more successful than the last
  • Role may eventually include direct supervisor responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of operating experience including scaling teams and a track record of exceeding KPIs
  • Previous project management experience preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; flexible and resilient with the ability to execute on changing business priorities
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain multiple projects at the same time
  • Driven to identify problems as they arise and manage solutions
  • Demonstrates the ability to foster growth in people and teams
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues and translate them into concrete action plans
  • Ability to tailor communication based on the needs of cross-functional teams and business leaders
  • Keen eye for understanding business need and relative prioritization across projects
  • Curiosity and intrinsic motivation to learn
