What You'll Be DoingThe Advisory Billing Manager will provide oversite and day to day management of associates who are responsible for ensuring that all advisory accounts are appropriately billed. The manager is responsible for multiple supervisory audits to ensure the client is being charged the fee that was agreed to with their financial advisor. The Manager is responsible providing leadership and guidance to the members of the Advisory Billing team while ensuring the team is delivering on the service metrics and billing timelines established.
What We're Looking For- Provides leadership to the department
- Ensure associates are fulfilling service levels and following departmental process to accurately bill client accounts
- Utilization of available tools and metrics to help associates improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Oversee the maintenance of department policies and procedures
- Streamlines processes and improve overall operational efficiency
- Responsible for various supervisory controls to ensure work is being completed accurately and according to established procedures.
- Collaborates with operations leadership with respect to department decision making
- Maintain an understanding of the work being completed by associates and the status of various projects
- Maintain appropriate tracking of all departmental responsibilities and supervisory procedures
- Ensure all workflow enhancements are appropriately tested prior to release
- Ensure all internal and external audit requests for data are delivered in a timely manner
- Ability to make sound and timely decisions
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to clearly
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills to effectively handle multiple
- demands while meeting deadlines
- Ability to plan and organize to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Able to allocate workload and adjust priorities to meet the demand for the department
- Ability to adapt to changes in functionality, technology, or regulatory policies when necessary
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Strong team leadership skills to acquire, coach, develop and retain talent
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years of Stifel experience
- Minimum Required: 8+ years' experience within the financial services industry
- Minimum Required: Series 7 or Series 99
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook #LI-AS1
