We are seeking a Director of Operation’s for Industrial Refrigeration Service and Construction. This individual would be responsible to oversee our company's daily operations, implement and drive KPI’s, support technicians and administrative staff as well as own and manage a P&L. As a business unit leader this person would drive excellent Customer experience, help drive a culture of safety, efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Industrial Refrigeration and Ammonia plants, operations management, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement. Role would push and support growth and modernization of systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a Service, Construction and Parts sales business servicing Industrial Refrigeration customers throughout the North-West United States.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage and optimize resources including personnel, equipment, and materials to meet operational goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement measures to improve performance and achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Conduct regular assessments of operational efficiency and effectiveness, making recommendations for enhancements as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the operations team.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to communicate operational performance and initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in operations management or a similar role, with a track record of success in optimizing processes and driving results.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in operations management or similar role
  • Background in industrial refrigeration and ammonia plants
