Provides Operations Excellence support for plant operations by driving continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the Cummins Operating System (COS). Supports manufacturing and supply chain operations through process optimization, people capability development, managed expense initiatives, and business continuity planning. Partners with cross-functional teams to improve operational effectiveness, plant maturity, and overall customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Operations Excellence & Continuous Improvement- Drive Operations Excellence initiatives aligned with Cummins Operating System (COS) principles and standards.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement process optimization and waste reduction methodologies.
- Support plant maturity goals and execute Operations Excellence roadmap initiatives.
- Drive managed expense initiatives across plant operations.
- Coordinate business continuity activities and operational support for the plant.
- Work closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams to improve end-to-end operational performance.
- Lead and coach teams on manufacturing standards, working methods, and operational best practices.
- Develop and promote a team-based work culture on the shop floor.
- Lead employee engagement, reward & recognition, and capability development initiatives.
