Job Description
Location/Division Specific Information: Join our innovative team at the MSD site in Eindhoven, where we innovate, build, and deliver High-End Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEMs).
Work with a team to develop new microscope modules and support existing modules.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide second-line support to factory and service teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality systems and modules.
- Support the supply chain with engineering expertise, including parts analysis for reliability and manufacturability, vendor qualification, and supplier technical quality issues.
- Improve product quality by defining and implementing structured project-based improvements.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing tools and documentation (e.g., work instructions), define factory processes, and conduct training sessions.
- Collaborate closely with R&D to successfully implement new modules into production (NPI), by using the Product Management Process (PMP).
- Determine and address technical challenges strictly and efficiently to ensure flawless operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process to compete at a world-class level.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or University degree in a technical field (Physics, Electronics, Mechanics).
- Proven experience in a high-tech manufacturing engineering environment. Knowledge of electron microscopy is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Great teammate with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Minimal travel requirement (5-10%).
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written); Dutch is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and inclusively in a diverse team.
