If so, you could be Netcompany’s next Operations Engineer.

Responsibilities and technologies

Netcompany Operations consists of specialized and cross-functional teams working across a wide range of technologies, including Linux, Oracle, Windows, Cloud, and Infrastructure, covering networking, servers, backup, and storage.

Based on your technical interests and expertise, you will join one of our operations teams, where you will take ownership of your own responsibilities while working closely with colleagues to deliver large-scale operational projects for our customers. You will have the opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced specialists in your field, while also contributing your own knowledge and perspectives to the team.

Your responsibilites will typically include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of one or more solutions, including monitoring, backup management, scripting, and performance tuning of operational platforms.
  • Participating in project work, such as major upgrade, deployment, and transition initiatives.
  • Ensuring security, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system performance.
  • Administering and maintaining clustered environments.

As part of our Infrastructure team, you may also work with maintaining our enterprise LAN environment, as well as managing, improving, and governing infrastructure platforms.

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, software, IT, or a similar field or possess an equivalent level of qualification.
  • Are motivated by delivering reliable, high-quality business-critical and mission-critical solutions.
  • Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken) is a must.

Employment is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain security clearance from the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET).

Skills Required
