Are you a seasoned Project/Program Manager with a passion for driving transformation within the financial services industry? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Investor Services Operations team. The applicant should also have subject matter expertise in the ‘Transfer Agency’ function. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving process and technology change across the group, influencing decisions, and delivering complex projects with significant impact.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate and successfully implement multiple projects/programs across Operations, in cooperation with our Product, Technology partners and for/with our clients.
- Formulate detailed project plans, analysis of effort, cost and impact on various Citi businesses to ensure timely execution and mitigate potential risks.
- Support in analysis & oversight of proposed system changes to assure smooth projects implementation.
- Build and manage an effective project team.
- Challenge the status quo, display initiative and innovation.
- Take proactive actions targeted at minimizing and mitigating implementation risk.
- Ensure that all necessary project documentation is maintained and all necessary approvals for the project are obtained.
- Act as a trusted partner to Clients and internal business partners.
- Display appropriate involvement in Department strategic planning.
- Drive improvement and competitive differentiation by proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
Recommended Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in Project Management or operational improvements (e.g., Lean, reengineering).
- Expertise in project methodologies and tools (PMBOK standard/PMP certification advantageous).
- Proven experience driving projects with external clients; ability to influence stakeholders.
- Desirable: Experience in asset management or Securities Services operations; strong understanding of financial markets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills; excellent English communication.
- Bachelor’s/University degree required, Master’s preferred.
- Subject matter expertise in one or more specific skill sets within operations

- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
