Job Description
Position Summary:
Rangen, LLC has an immediate opening for an Operations Coordinator. The position plays a critical role in assisting the Inventory and Production Planning team maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure efficient production scheduling within a feed manufacturing plant. This position reports to the Central Services Supervisor and is responsible for scaling inbound and outbound ingredients, assisting with inventory counts and adjustments, and assisting with creating work orders for mill production. The role requires a strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time management ability. This position is Monday-Friday with occasional overtime as needed.
A Sample of What You’ll Do in this Role
- Scale incoming and outgoing ingredients, finished products, and packaging supplies
- Receive documentation for raw ingredients, including organizing and scanning
- Receive raw ingredients into ERP system
- Assist with inventory counts and adjustments
- Make corrections to accruals on incoming raw ingredients as needed
- Partner with Central Services for loading and unloading locations throughout the campus
- Other role responsibilities and projects as needed
Requirements
What You Bring to the Role:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or production planning; manufacturing or agriculture/feed industry preferred
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel preferred
- Ability to work in a hands-on, physically active plant environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in the plant in varying temperatures, dust, and noise conditions if needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to wear required PPE while in the plant or required areas (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed boots at a minimum)
