Position Summary:
The Operations Coordinator assists the manufacturing department by providing administrative and data entry support within a fluid and fast-paced industrial environment. Aids in facilitating production through order facilitation, research, reconciliation processes, and inventory related activities
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize records, work orders, and other related inventory transactions
- Engage in data entry and order processing
- Review and reconcile production information and related paperwork
- Assist with system inventory maintenance and associated tasks
- Process and print product tags
- Receive and direct visitors
- Answer telephones and redirect calls as appropriate
- Maintain a level of professionalism among team members and colleagues
- Assist in other administrative duties as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma) or one year related industrial experience or equivalent training
- 2+ years of previous administrative or clerical experience; industrial environment a plus
- Excellent verbal/written communication and phone skills
- Strong math skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and related computer applications
- Adept typing and data entry skills
- Familiarity with operation of general office equipment to include but not limited to: printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, etc.
- Proven organizational and time management skills; attention to detail
- Cooperatively works and interacts with members of various departments
