Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, executes routine assignments and cultivates fundamental job competencies by addressing standard problems. Actively implements Property Procedures and Policies to uphold Government-approved business systems in full compliance with Government, customer, and contractual requirements, as well as relevant Aerospace policies and procedures. Adheres to specific objectives or statements outlined in contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs), contract deliverables, and outcome metrics. Provides tactical support for Property responsibilities that influence the Aero site's business system compliance, thereby impacting the site's ability to qualify, execute, and invoice Government contracts.

Work performed supports project efficiency, cost containment, operational effectiveness, and overall business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide active support for audits conducted by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and fulfill self-assessment obligations as per the Property Outcomes and Requirements outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), particularly FAR 45 and 52.245-1.
  • Implement Property Procedures and Policies to uphold government-approved business systems, ensuring compliance with government, customer, and contractual requirements, as well as relevant aerospace policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to specific objectives or statements outlined in contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs), while monitoring and reporting material flow across multiple systems concerning contract deliverables and outcome metrics.
  • Strategically assist in fulfilling property responsibilities that influence the Aero site's business system compliance, thereby impacting the site's eligibility to qualify, execute, and invoice government contracts.
  • Ensure the precision of incoming and outgoing shipments, considering both quality and quantity to guarantee compliance with specifications.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project execution and deliverables.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and project documentation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • In lieu of formal education. 5 years of directly related experience preferred. Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Asset Tracking databases, e.g., SAP, eQuip, PIEE

  • Strong PC skills especially with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Capability to obtain Forklift certification – Training provided on-site

Pay

Basic Compensation: $58,000 - $60,000 per year 

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
