Summary of Position

The Clinical Operations Business Analyst supports the Clinical Operations Division of Teladoc. The primary responsibility of the Analyst is to provide data-driven decision support for our Clinical Operations team. This includes the use of data to identify operational and financial trends and opportunities. The analyst must comprehend business objectives and develop or utilize tools and views to support the needs of the organization.

The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, eager to learn, and driven to produce high-quality work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis and investigate business issues and trends using quantitative tools and modeling techniques; propose and/or execute solutions.
  • Compile and present data to provide insight that helps drive business strategy.
  • Gather, develop, and validate reporting requirements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain data documentation, utilizing both technical and business terminology.
  • Acquire, analyze, and validate data to ensure the integrity of reports and productivity models.
  • Collect, review, and analyze data and documentation related to network performance, service level compliance, policies and procedures, and quality.
  • Demonstrate the effectiveness of operational changes through metrics and other measurable elements of implemented changes.
  • Work collaboratively with internal data and analytical teams to maximize business efficiencies.
  • Triage and resolve data questions and issues reported by users.
  • Participate in and support ongoing change management activities for processes and systems.
  • Conduct analysis and verify data models against source systems to confirm data integrity.
  • Support ad hoc reporting and/or projects as needed.

                                                          

Qualifications Required for Position

  • 4 years of experience in a professional business environment
  • Undergraduate degree or higher in any of the following - Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, Economics, Finance, or related fields a plus (4 years of working in operations is acceptable)
  • Expert in Excel
  • Experience with SQL and/or Python
  • Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI
  • Proficiency using technology including Microsoft programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

Qualifications Preferred for Position

  • Clinical Workforce planning and/or Call Center experience a plus.
  • Adept at finding opportunities to automate business tasks and processes.
  • Capacity to acquire additional skills using both internal and external resources, including learning new concepts and applying them to one's current role.
  • Demonstrates robust problem-solving abilities and advanced analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Expert organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Skilled at handling multiple priorities efficiently and accurately.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced setting.
  • Skilled in presenting data and engaging with management at all levels.
  • Strong customer service skills

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
