- Data Collections – Carrier Facing exercises discretion and independent judgment over the tasks, duties and job responsibilities outlined below.
- The position has significant importance due to the critical nature of the employee benefit administration function performed by Wrangle for its clients. The position requires a professional relationship and professional communication with vendors and Wrangle staff.
Fulltime temporary position through to 12.31.2025
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to receive schedules from the insurance companies, brokers or plan sponsors. This involves understanding the broker, the plan sponsor and the ERISA plans. Interaction is primarily with the insurance companies, but also involves some interaction with brokers, plan sponsors and Wrangle staff. The task and duties are listed below, but are not limited to these:
- Emails from the carriers should be responded to within 24 hours of receiving them.
- Emails from brokers or plan sponsors should be responded to within four (4) hours of receiving them.
- Schedule As received should be reviewed for the correct carrier, policy number, policy period, benefit and funding. If correct, they should then be made available to be entered into the Wrangle database/Form 5500.
- Schedule A Requests – if the Schedule As received are not correct, use the automated tools to reach out to the appropriate carrier for the data needed for that client, policy period and ERISA Plan Year.
- Perform regular checks to ensure all auto requests are being sent out appropriately. This includes on-time requests as well as requests for placeholders.
- Take responsibility for and complete the DC – CF portion of the CBD list, the 45 day report and the Aflac and Colonial lists.
- Assist with preparing on-time, amended, Ticking and One-Year DFVCs.
- Assist and support Consultants, 5500 Specialists and Data Collections – Broker Facing as necessary and as directed by the office manager to optimize the Wrangle process.
This position requires a significant amount of self-management in terms of following Wrangle’s Best Practices Form 5500 Timeline, responding to emails in a timely manner and ensuring that all data is received and entered in accurately.
