Once here, you willServe as an associate within Brokerage Operations, providing registered supervision over inter-dealer market making activity in corporate securities and margin lending and financing.
Be a key control point for the business: Reviewing and approving trading and margin activity, maintaining supervisory procedures, and acting as the escalation point for issues surfaced by the trading, onboarding, and operations teams.
Help shape the supervisory framework that keeps the firm compliant as Atomic scales its broker-dealer capabilities and new products and activities come online.
We're looking for a hands-on principal who can own day-to-day supervisory responsibility for market making and underwriting activity, not just sign off on it. Requirements: :
Active Series 57 and Series 24
Three to five years of direct experience in overseeing trading and/or margin
Demonstrated experience supervising inter-dealer market making activity in corporate securities
Deep subject matter expertise in Reg T and FINRA Rule 4210, portfolio margin
Oversee daily trading operations, monitor real-time profit and loss (PnL), and manage risk limits across proprietary or agency trading desks.
Issuing and verifying margin calls, handling day-trading account rules, setting house collateral haircuts, and resolving branch/client escalations.
Comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment with evolving processes
Candidates who don't meet all of the above must have direct experience in at least one of: inter-dealer market making in corporate securities or margin financing.
Ideal candidates will also have:Prior experience in onboarding, securities lending, or other brokerage operational activities preferred
Underwriting, corporate actions experience is a bonus
