POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing operational and financial support to the Audax Origination investment, investor relations, and management teams.  This team member will work closely with the deal team in coordinating and executing the deal closing process through review of legal documents, review of funds flows, recalculating fees, and executing wire transfers, while promoting an environment of compliance, efficiency, accuracy, quality, and control.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with investment team in tracking investment pipeline, mandates and closing
  • Work with the investment team to review and/or create required materials for deal closing; credit agreement review, funds flow preparation, closing checklist maintenance, KYC requests
  • Assist with Lead Agent responsibilities and manage external 3rd party sub-agent services
  • Coordinate funding of DDTL and Revolver draws including syndicate members
  • Preparation and maintenance of leverage facility CMRs and compliance certificates
  • Manage line of credit/subscription facility reporting and compliance for multiple funds, including preparation of borrowing notices, facility paydowns and interest expense tracking
  • Prepare assignment and transfer agreements
  • Daily communication with finance team and investment teams to maintain liquidity analysis and pending close reports
  • Coordinate with finance team for the preparation of daily wires for fund expenses, distributions, and other fund related activity
  • Assist the team with audit requests related to deal and credit / leverage facility activity
  • Coordinate the opening of new bank accounts
  • Identify continued process and reporting enhancements related to daily operations

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related major; CPA or MBA a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, strong preference for candidates with experience in debt products
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (ie: pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Investran, WSO, Clear Par and Black Mountain/Allvue a plus

LOCATION: Boston, MA. This is a Hybrid position: 3 days/week in the Boston office. Open to candidates located in the Charlotte, NC metro area.  


The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
