We are hiring an Operations Assistant (Contract) to support day-to-day hardware and logistics operations from our Denver workspace. This role focuses on assembling, preparing, and shipping equipment to customer sites while maintaining accurate inventory and an organized work environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and comfortable working independently on operational tasks.
This is a part time role, between 5-30 hours per week depending on demand. Working hours may vary depending on company needs and contractor’s availability.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, activate, package, and prepare equipment for shipment
- Coordinate outbound shipping and basic logistics activities
- Track, update, and maintain inventory records
- Repair or rework equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized shared workspace
- Source materials locally when needed, including occasional trips to hardware suppliers
- Provide basic task status updates and flag short-term supply needs
Qualifications
- Experience using hand and power tools (e.g., drills, impact drivers, wrenches, screwdrivers)
- Experience assembling electrical wiring and Ethernet cables
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with domestic shipping and logistics
- Experience managing or tracking inventory
- FAA Part 107 drone license
