The Operations Assistant supports the Area Management Team in ensuring the timely delivery of customer reports and maintaining operational excellence. This role coordinates work assignments, monitors workflows, communicates with clients and vendors, and helps achieve service-level objectives. The Operations Assistant exercises independent judgment while supporting daily operations, resolving issues, and driving process improvements. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Support the timely delivery of customer reports and achievement of service-level goals.
- Manage and complete assigned tasks through the company ticketing system.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, insureds, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and provide updates.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.
- Assist with workload management, assignment coordination, and operational decision-making.
- Escalate or resolve inquiries, concerns, and service-related issues.
- Participate in meetings and contribute recommendations for process improvements.
- Complete administrative and operational support tasks as assigned.
- Maintain professionalism while representing the organization.
- Assist with training, mentoring, and special projects as needed.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Associate degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Two years of insurance, loss control, operations, administrative support, or related experience preferred.
- Internship experience, insurance coursework, or related training may be considered in lieu of professional experience.
