Job Summary:
The BU Operations and Supply Chain Manager is a senior executive responsible to oversee and drive the competitiveness of the global supply chain for the Business Unit Marine Solutions, transforming the customer demands into competitive supply chain activities. The Operations and Supply Chain Manager will work closely with other Operations and Supply Chain Managers within the Ocean Division, as well as other stakeholders in the Group. You have a proven track record in similar positions.
The position will report to Business Unit President as the direct manager and will be part of the BU Marine Solutions Management Team.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of the strategy in the Business Unit by translating strategy into supply plans and assist in the establishment of measurable targets and KPI’s to ensure targets are met.
- Execute the supply plan using our central focus areas and the Business Unit organization.
- Drive the competitiveness of the BU Marine Solutions supply chains worldwide.
- Oversee the supply chain within BU Marine Solutions, ensuring a holistic view and strategy.
- Run the Supply Chain function and lead the agenda towards our Global Center of Excellence areas, i.e Health Safety & Environment, Production processes, Production Systems (ALPS) Systems, Sourcing, Operations Development and Parts & Distribution.
- Drive long-term and technology development in collaboration with Product Groups organizations. and Supply Managers.
- Secure the development of functional competencies within the function.
- Work closely with Operations stakeholders from other Business Units.
- Drive and enable development of people & organization.
- Collaborate & conduct leadership in the matrix organization. Part of both tactical and strategic decisions in management team.
- Lead a team of Factory Managers, Sourcing Manager, S&OP Manager and Operations Development Manager

With a passion for performance, business curiosity and improvement, you are collaborative and skilled at managing stakeholders. You have a strong background in Lean Six Sigma, technology and supply chain development.
