Job Overview
We are looking for a Operations Analyst with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of financial markets. The ideal candidate will be adept at using SQL and pattern matching to capture, extract, transform, and load investment product data, ensuring its accuracy and consistency. The position is client-facing and requires strong internal collaboration with various teams to support a dedicated client in our data operations division.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and objectives related to structured products for a dedicated client to ensure seamless integration of data across systems and platforms.
- Develop and maintain efficient data acquisition workflows for managing Structured Products-related data.
- Utilize SQL to extract vital information from extensive datasets.
- Apply pattern matching techniques, including regular expressions, for precise data extraction.
- Conduct data validation and quality assurance checks.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to data projects.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on data sources, transformation processes, and dictionaries as well as client-specific rulesets.
- Stay informed about market trends and best practices within the structured products sector and the clients’ product portfolio in particular.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as in the banking industry or comparable qualification, or career changers with a strong interest in the subject and the ability to quickly familiarize themselves with new fields.
- Fluent in English and German; additional languages are beneficial.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as meticulous attention to detail.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with financial concepts and investment products is preferred.
