Operations Analyst

Summary of Position

This position will provide analytical support data management to our Operations group. This person will assure the consistent production of high-quality information, and support Operations in delivering internal and customer reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collecting and organizing information from various sources like computer data and sales histories
  • Examine the data to figure out what is important to the problem and which methods are best to analyze it
  • Use statistical methods to analyze information and develop solutions to business problems
  • Advise managers on findings and the various courses they can take to address the problem
  • Understand complex relationships between data systems, and explain them to people with limited technical understanding.
  • Effectively present information and analysis, and respond to questions from groups of managers.
  • Recognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintain such information as confidential.
  • Support our Business Intelligence and Reporting program.

Qualifications Expected for Position
Must Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative or business-oriented field, or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong experience with  tools & technology (Domo, ERP, Power B)
  • Proven ability to adjust, validate, and analyze data to support business decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
  • Experience with process mapping and documenting end-to-end business workflows.
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a business environment, either full-time or via internships.
    A willingness to ask questions, and follow an ambiguous problem to resolution.
  • Comfort with complex, interconnected systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with a geographically diverse team to gather information and manage defined processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics GP, JIRA, SQL preferred.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently and organizing workflow to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excel experience required, exposure to pivot tables, and complex spreadsheet analysis preferred.
