As an Associate Operations Analyst you'll work with external vendors to ensure proper standards and processes are being followed. You'll utilize your insight into mortgage operations management, capacity planning and modeling to support ad-hoc initiatives and projects to help increase efficiency and quality for the operation teams.- Establish standards and guidelines for vendors, monitoring them to ensure policies are being followed.
- Ensure vendors are updated and in line with Operational changes & Guideline changes made by Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac.
- Research & implement creative solutions to solve Business Requirements.
- Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and provide user and operational support.
What you'll need:
- 1+ years of related experience in Project Management or similar field.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Entry level knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending; including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
- Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Entry level to intermediate experience with mortgage CRM (Encompass).
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
