Role Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the development and execution of the Chile underwriting strategy and support to the Active Underwriter in its delivery.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist Issuing policies, give service to business portfolio and to assist with underwriting and departmental workflow systems, processes, and related issues as necessary
  • Assist the portfolio in line with controls, underwriting strategy, and guidelines.
  • Ensure that documentation is completed timely and accurately according to standards.
  • Assist with the development and execution of documentation and processes, and other systems as necessary.
  • Assist in addressing and resolving overdues, workflow, and various clerical issues as necessary.
  • Interact and coordinate activities with other departments.
  • Liaise with other underwriting departments as necessary.
  • Recommend new procedures and programs were warranted.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Engineering degree, Accountant or equivalent in business or a related field
  • 5+ years of working experience
  • Experience in insurance or banking industry (Not excluding)
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building, and development skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database tools
  • Advanced English language (mandatory)
