Graduate Operations Analyst - Taxes

We are looking for a Graduate Tax Operations Analyst who recently graduated from university to help us build and maintain Taxation Operations processes, being responsible for ensuring they are run effectively and also ensuring a seamless customer experience to users.

You will be supporting the analysts and senior analysts in the team in their routine activities and get to learn about a range of topics in the investment journey: calculations of taxes and refunds, issuance of reports to authorities, different regulations about investment taxation, and you will be helping solve the most complex cases and challenges in these topics.

• Build, run, monitor and maintain essential daily and event-driven operational processes related to investment taxation

• Collaborate with the Product and the Customer Service teams to improve features in the application

• Issue and review reports sent to authorities, ensuring integrity of the information displayed

• Serve as the internal subject matter expert for complex operational and tax calculation queries escalated by frontline teams

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all standard operating procedures SOPs and control frameworks

• Monitor internal systems to optimise operational efficiency and address any potential disruptions promptly

• Contribute to business development projects under the guidance of senior team members

• Recently completed (or about to complete) an Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Administration, Economics, or a related field

• Great problem-solving skills to find smart and practical solutions

• Interest in process design and process management

• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

• Interest in trading, investments and investment taxation

• Internship in Trading or Taxation-related environment

• Knowledge of the German language (fluent or C1)

• Knowledge of SQL
