In this role, you will support day- to- day operations and champion process excellence for our growth initiatives across major platforms, including Amazon SFP, Walmart Plus, and Retail. You will help manage warehouse operations, order processing, and reverse logistics, ensuring smooth execution for Balsam’s marketplace and retail partnerships. Your focus will be on improving efficiency, scalability, and integration across our operational workflows.
As a central point of contact coordinating these platforms’ operations, you will collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and improve operational metrics, support the launch of new retail and marketplace partnerships, analyze data to identify and implement impactful process improvements, and oversee reverse logistics and returns operations, helping to minimize costs, optimize inventory recovery, and enhance the customer return experience.
Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail and drive to deliver operational excellence. You’ll help shape our operational strategy and play an integral part in Balsam Brands continued growth.
This full-time position reports to the Operations Manager and is expected to work in a hybrid model, which currently includes Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in-office.
What you’ll do:
- Enable Growth Operations: Support and optimize operations for Amazon SFP, Walmart Plus, and Retail partnerships, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives and improved performance
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to enhance operational capabilities and support marketplace initiatives
- Operational Support: Assist with warehouse operations and other key operational processes, including inbound container allocation and reverse logistics management, ensuring efficiency and consistency across channels
- Drive Process Improvements: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to implement scalable, efficient processes focused on operational excellence
- Analyze reverse logistics processes, including customer returns, secondary retail restocking, and product liquidation, to recover value and minimize product disposal
- Oversee product refurbishment initiatives, coordinating inspection, repair, and repackaging efforts to ensure returned products meet quality standards for resale
- Facilitate Order Movement: Coordinate the movement of orders and inventory, ensuring timely delivery through effective collaboration with warehouses and carriers
- Monitor Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Develop Operational Expertise: Build expertise in core e-commerce operational processes across multiple platforms
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics and reporting to inform decisions, improve workflows, and support leadership with actionable insights
What you bring to the table:
- 1+ years of experience in operations, data analysis, or supply chain, preferably in e-commerce or retail
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams
- A proactive, resourceful attitude and interest in improving processes

The base pay range for this position is: $54,000 to $67,000. Where an individual falls within that range will vary based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on candidate qualifications and experience, applicable skills, and other job-related factors. We benchmark our pay ranges against current external data sources and regularly review compensation for our team members.
