The Operations Analyst is responsible for activities related to operational excellence across the Omron companies and third party logistics providers. The main focus is to identify and solve operational issues, create/review warehouse processes, create operational solutions, achieve KPI targets and monitor the third party logistics company’s responsiveness. This position requires attention to detail and a focus on process improvement to make sure that we are meeting our goals of operational excellence and communication in a fast-paced environment.  This role will be challenged to be innovative, analytical and think differently in a world-class end-to-end logistics and operations process.

Responsibilities:       

  • Act as direct link between Omron customer service and third party logistics provider
  • Follow up on requests from Omron internal customers through Service Now tool
  • Monitor warehouse responsiveness
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze, prioritize, and resolve operational and logistics issues with guidance
  • Propose practical solutions or countermeasures when identifying process or system gaps
  • Contribute ideas and actively support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records, metrics, and documentation related to warehouse performance and operational issues
  • Use basic data analysis (Excel, reporting tools) to identify trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Understand and promote the key objectives and philosophies of the company as they relate to the third party logistics provided. 
  • Own assigned operational issues from identification through resolution, including follow-up and documentation
  • Assist in projects related to continuous operational improvement

Requirements:

  • 1+ years in warehousing, inventory management, logistics, operations environment, comfortable with learning new technology
  • BS in supply management, operations or engineering.
  • Technology oriented with Strong knowledge of Outlook, MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong knowledge/experience with ERP systems including JDEdwards preferred. Expert in a request management system. Demonstrates attention to detail, strong organization skills and can communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written.
  • 15% travel with the Americas is possible

 

The pay range for this role is $31-$33 per hour, however, pay offered may vary depending on internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus program. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.

Skills Required
