In this role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Facilitate and improve the objective deployment process within the mill to support mill breakthrough areas;

  • Working with the plant leadership team to support strategy deployment processes within the mill.

  • Coordinate and optimise mill cadence processes in support of breakthrough objectives.

Facilitate and improve the following key mill CI functions:

  • Tier Meeting Process

  • Connected Checking, Standard Work and Leader Standard Work

  • OPEX Deployment Plans for Mill Assets

  • Lean Six Sigma Deployment

  • A3 strategy deployment and Improvement Planning

  • Capability and Training Programs

Develop, facilitate and manage the introduction of new tools within the mill to counteract identified problems and challenges

  • Carry out education sessions on CI tools, processes and thinking.

  • Manage the introduction of tools and processes through pilot efforts, driving simple, robust and sustainable systems, building towards a “Northfleet operating system”.

  • Facilitate, promote and support a continuous improvement culture at Northfleet mill including, leveraging proven systems, tools and techniques

  • CI SME - Coaching and development of leadership teams in CI thinking, tools and systems supporting a multi-year site wide transformation effort

  • Enable deployment of proven CI tools throughout the mill organisation

Support the EMEA CI transformation roadmap including:

  • Representation for the mill at LEAN action meetings to ensure standardisation across all locations.

  • Provide a link between the mills and sector resources with regards CI activities

  • Provide a link between CI and reliability strategies

Leadership of on-site supply chain graduate development program

  • Leading the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), digital evolution of the site systems and processes & digital capability of the on site teams.
