The Regulatory Reporting team, within Global Reporting & Performance Measurement, is responsible for the generation and distribution of client-specific and regulatory reporting across the full DWS fund range, including Active, Passive, and Alternative products.
As an Operations Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for matters relating to regulatory transaction reporting, with a particular focus on MiFIR Article 26, EMIR Art. 9, and SFTR Art. 4. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a wide range of DWS stakeholders, clients, and auditors, providing subject-matter expertise and ensuring the timely resolution of inquiries. Internally, you will support the smooth execution of operational processes by coordinating, organizing, and monitoring system interfaces. You will independently manage projects and drive their implementation in a timely and effective manner. In addition, you will contribute to the continuous enhancement of process quality and operational efficiency through your expertise and proactive approach.
Role Description
- Strong understanding and practical experience in equity and fixed income attribution methodologies, as well as a solid grasp of attribution effects and their implications.

Your key responsibilities
- Act as a central point of contact for transaction reporting and coordinate internal and external inquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain and continuously enhance a stable, robust, and compliant daily monitoring framework.
- Ensure strong data quality in Transaction Reporting Paring & Matching
- Analyze and implement new regulatory requirements related to transaction reporting and develop both technical and operational enhancements to address identified issues.
- Liaise with internal specialist functions, including Compliance, Trading, and Audit, and represent DWS in national and international industry associations.
- Ensure the timely preparation of, and response to, ad hoc requests from Senior Management.
- Ensure consistency, standardized preparation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of all required documentation.
Your skills and experience
- At least 4-6 years of experience in Regulatory Transaction reporting (e.g. MIFIR Art. 26, EMIR Art. 9 & SFTR Art. 4).
- Preferred system knowledge includes BlackRock Solutions Aladdin and Cappitech.
- Strong ability to work independently with a conceptual, structured, and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess issues, identify root causes, and communicate progress on appropriate solutions effectively.
- Ability to work with precision and maintain focus under pressure.
- Confidence in managing ad hoc analysis requests from Senior Management in a timely and professional manner.
- Very good written and spoken communication skills in English (German nice to have).

Skills Required
- 4-6 years' experience in Regulatory Transaction Reporting (MiFIR Art.26, EMIR Art.9, SFTR Art.4)
- Practical experience in equity and fixed income attribution methodologies and attribution analysis
- Experience with transaction reporting pairing and matching and ensuring data quality
- Experience working in production BAU, process and controls, and management support
- Strong analytical skills, root-cause analysis and solution implementation
- Ability to work independently with a conceptual, structured, solution-oriented approach
- Very good written and spoken communication skills in English
- German language skills
- Experience with BlackRock Solutions Aladdin and Cappitech
- Confidence managing ad hoc analysis requests from Senior Management and working under pressure
