Hello! We're Teya.

Teya is a payment and software service provider, headquartered in London serving small, local businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019, we build easy to use, integrated tools that enable our members to accept payments and boost business performance.

At Teya we believe small, local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities.

We’re here because we don’t believe there’s a level playing field that gives small businesses with a fighting chance against the giants of the high street.

We’re here because we see banks and legacy service providers making things harder for them. We don’t think the best technology or the best service should be reserved for those with the biggest headquarters.

We’re here to fight for a future where small, local businesses can thrive, and to commit the same dedication they offer all of us.

Become a part of our story.

We’re looking for exceptional talent to join our mission. We offer a chance to create impact in a high-energy and connected culture, while benefiting from continuous learning opportunities, a supportive community which is proud to serve our mission, and comprehensive benefits.

Spain is one of Teya's most strategically important markets. As the OP&A Partner for Spain, you will play a critical role in shaping the country's growth strategy, commercial performance, and long-term value creation.
Your mission is to help the business make better decisions, faster. You will work directly with the Country Leadership Team to identify growth opportunities, allocate resources effectively, improve commercial productivity, and ensure the business is executing against its goals. Acting as the strategic and analytical partner to the Country Leader, you will bring together data, commercial insight, and operational rigour to drive performance across the market.
This is not a reporting role. It is a business-building role. You will influence how we invest, where we grow, how we deploy teams, how we incentivise performance, and how we measure success. You will sit at the centre of commercial decision-making and help turn strategy into execution.
What You'll Do

  • Strategy & Growth Planning

    • Partner with the Country Leadership Team to develop and execute Spain's growth strategy.

    • Quantify market opportunities through market sizing, segmentation analysis, competitive benchmarking, and forecasting.

    • Identify growth opportunities across channels, geographies, merchant segments, and products.

    • Build strategic business cases to support investment decisions and prioritisation.

  • Commercial Planning & Performance

    • Own the annual commercial planning process, including revenue forecasting, budgeting, target setting, and capacity planning.

    • Build and maintain commercial models that guide investment decisions and resource allocation.

    • Develop territory plans, coverage models, channel strategies, and sales deployment recommendations.

    • Define and track the key performance indicators that drive commercial success.

  • Productivity & Commercial Efficiency

    • Build headcount, capacity, productivity, and funnel models to optimise commercial performance.

    • Analyse sales effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve conversion, productivity, and execution.

    • Evaluate unit economics across channels and regions, providing recommendations to improve growth efficiency and return on investment.

    • Support pricing, incentive design, and commission structures to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Business Performance & Decision Support

    • Monitor business performance, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.

    • Produce insights that help leaders understand what is driving performance and where intervention is required.

    • Lead deep-dive analyses into key business questions and strategic priorities.

    • Act as a thought partner to the Country Leader and functional leaders on business-critical decisions.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership

    • Work closely with Commercial Excellence, Finance, Revenue Operations, People, Data, Product, and Country Leadership teams to translate strategy into execution.

    • Ensure commercial initiatives are measurable, operationally effective, and aligned with broader company priorities.

    • Help establish a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • 4–7 years of experience in Management Consulting, Strategy, Commercial Planning, Business Analytics, Investment Banking, Private Equity, FP&A, or a similar analytical role.

  • Experience supporting commercial, sales, or go-to-market organisations in a high-growth environment.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex business challenges.

  • Strong commercial acumen and a genuine interest in how businesses grow.

  • Proven ability to build financial, operational, and commercial models that inform strategic decisions.

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge thinking through data and insight.

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate analysis into clear business recommendations.

  • Degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills and experience working with large datasets.

  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.

  • SQL experience is advantageous but not required.

We believe that a diverse team leads to better ideas, stronger outcomes, and a more supportive workplace for all.
