We sell Ooni pizza ovens, accessories, and groceries around the world and have an expanding global team.
The Role

Pizza is the ultimate shareable food; slice by slice, it brings people together. Heck, we believe pizza makes the world a better place. Of course, some might say we're biased - after all, Ooni created the world's first portable pizza oven - but is there anything better than a hot, fresh Margherita? We think not.
Speaking of togetherness, we're looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial and team-oriented individual to join our sales team as a Territory Sales Manager. This is a remote working role within the assigned territory. If you have a proven track record building out territories and a genuine passion for what you do, this might just be the perfect job for you. This role will work alongside our US Sales Team (and our Global Sales Team) to develop and grow our omni channel retail presence in this market.
What you'll do:
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for the sale of company products and services in the assigned territory by interacting with established retailers and developing new prospects (B2B). Maintains personal one-on-one contact and assures customer awareness by providing expertise, knowledge, new product information consistent with company objectives and quality standards. Acts within scope of corporate objectives and policies to accomplish assigned goals.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain sales programs within assigned territory and successfully sell and promote Ooni products and services.
  • Focus on top revenue generating accounts while maintaining best in class service.
  • Achieves both short and long-term objectives for increased sales volume and territory growth.
  • Responsible for securing and renewing orders, arrangement of delivery dates and other activities associated with sell and customer service.
  • Maintain open communications between Ooni and retailers. Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel.
  • Provides presentations to customers on Ooni products, sales policies, selling points, credit terms, and the overall view of our product and services..
  • Stays updated on competitors activities through review of field information and industry sources and reports such activities to the regional sales manager on a regular basis.
  • Keeps records and makes reports on all phases of activities.
  • Provides input and recommendations on product requirements and needs.
  • Submits weekly activity/call reports concerning customer related activities:(including quotes, orders, problems concerning customer/vendor relationships)
  • Consistent and thoughtful use of retail marketing assets to improve in-store position, execution and performance.
  • Demo our products at trade shows, training events and account meetings (training will be a must).
  • Drive continuous improvements and efficiencies in our account management processes.
  • Travel (40%) is expected to meet with accounts, attend events/tradeshows, and visit stores locally.


What you'll need to succeed:

  • Have 3 - 5 years of experience working in a territory sales and/or account management role, preferably within the outdoor industry or consumer goods.
  • Have excellent communication and people skills.
  • Willing to travel within the US to meet with retail accounts within an assigned territory or regional trade shows.
  • Have a well-organized way of working and handling client requests.
  • Have great attention to detail.
  • Can ace presentations and product demonstrations
  • Are proactive and efficient. Our customers are our number one priority, we want them to feel valued and so we need to respond to them quickly, and more importantly, positively
  • Have experience with, or show willingness to quickly learn how to use, CRMs, Slack and ERP software
  • Have a positive, growth mindset.

Right now, we sell our pizza ovens all over the world. Hot and fast is how you cook truly great pizza, and- all of our models get hot as hell (that’s 932°F/500°C last time we checked) and cook incredible pizza in only 60 seconds. Before Ooni, if you wanted pizza that good, you had to go to a restaurant or spend thousands on a traditional pizza oven. Not anymore, friends.

Our team works on a hybrid schedule, typically working from the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays; however, we are flexible.
