Onsite Windows/Unix System & Virtual Infrastructure Administrator (IT3)

Position: Onsite Windows/Unix System & Virtual Infrastructure Administrator (IT3)
Grade: IT3
Location :Hyderabad

Job Description :

•    Work with on VMWare/Nutanix daily operations : Configuration Management, Troubleshoot,  Upgrades and Patch Management.
•    Work on global projects to setup new environment.
•    Work on automation projects.
•    Would need to work on Windows administration / desktop application installation / support (MS Office, Antivirus, VPN) and do HW (laptop & desktop) break fixes. 
•    Capable of performing windows and Linux installation, implementation, customization, recovery, and performance tuning.
•    Work with ticketing process to work on laptops, desktops, and desktop application issues reported by end-users.
•    Track & close any user issues.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

•    Technical knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with Windows and Linux Operating Systems
• Good working experience  in Openstack/IAAS & DevOps is andatory  

Handson experience working on VMware and Nutanix VM Administration/Management. 
•    Very Good Understanding of virtualization technology.
•    Strong understanding on managing Virtual switches including DVS, NSX-T technologies, Openvswitch and Linux bridges.
•    Managing VLANs, VXLAN and Virtual switches at scale.
•    Good understanding of HA and DRS environment.
•    Good exposure in implementing and managing VM GPU environments at scale.
•    Solid understanding on implementing and managing VMware Horizon environments at scale.
•    Should have good knowledge for automation/scripting using tools like PowerShell, Perl, Python.
•    Good analytical/problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
•    Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with the team.
•    Fast learning and adoption to constantly changing environment and requirements.
•    Good written and verbal Communications Skills.

Preferred Additional Skill Required:

•    Good working experience on Terraform and Ansible. 
•    Proficient on Python will be huge advantage.
•    Good working knowledge of NSX setup and operations.
•    Knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
•    Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.

Experience:

•    Should have relevant experience of at least 5-6 years.

Qualification:

•    Engineering (Computers, Electronics, IT) or equivalent
