The Nokia NI Supply Chain Fixed Networks Test Engineering team is responsible for designing and maintaining manufacturing test solutions for the full Fixed Networks portfolio, including GPON, and copper technologies, both for CPE as Central Office equipment. Currently, we are expanding our operations with our manufacturing vendors in Bangkok area. To support and guarantee that the test operations with those vendors are according to Nokia standards, we are currently looking for an On-Site Support Test Engineer.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the on-site test system maintenance, including:
- Support vendors Test engineers to build the test environment; deploy the test system to the work-floor.
- Guide and supervise the product testing, provide necessary on-site technical support.
- Provide trouble-shooting support on-site, supervising the vendor's repair engineers.
- Manage the Nokia owned Test Equipment on the vendor site.
- Design & implement improvements on the test solution
You have:
- Major in Electrical/Electronics engineering. Computer Science, Communication Engineering or related. At least 3 years work experience with Master degree or 5 years work experience with Bachelor degree.
- Understanding of the communication standard of optical communication network, test experience with related product, especially for PON / AP is preferred.
- Experience in programming.
- Been familiar with the commonly used test instrument, instrument control and programming experience is preferred.
- Been familiar with Linux system, programming experience under Linux is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer and communication network could understand the new communication protocol and product requirement swiftly.
- Good working enthusiasm and teamwork spirit.
- Good in communication skill and problem solving.
- Good written and oral in English.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Working experience in factory/productiuon environment.
- Software test experience.
- Knowledge of Chinese language.
- Experience on large-scale project

Skills Required
