C.H. Robinson is seeking an onsite Import/Export Compliance Specialist to support our customer, Lucid Motors. Lucid Motors (officially Lucid Group, Inc.) is a U.S.-based electric vehicle and technology company focused on producing luxury, high‑performance electric vehicles with industry‑leading range and efficiency. In this role, you will partner closely with Lucid’s Import/Export Compliance team and C.H. Robinson Customs Brokerage teams to drive accurate classification, ensure compliant U.S. Customs entries, and resolve customs clearance issues. You will be in a highly visible role supporting import and export clearance processes, supplier compliance, and audit activities. As the onsite ambassador for C.H. Robinson at Lucid, you will help strengthen cross-functional collaboration and keep global trade operations running smoothly.
This is an in-office role with flexibility to work onsite at Lucid’s manufacturing facility in Casa Grande (317 S. Thornton Rd., Casa Grande, AZ 85193) as well as its Phoenix facility (4141 E. Broadway Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85040).
Responsibilities:The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Partner directly with Lucid and C.H. Robinson Customs Brokerage to resolve customs clearance issues and ensure smooth shipment flow
- Review and validate country of origin, shipment value, and import documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Confirm adherence to import regulatory requirements, including Partner Government Agency standards
- Evaluate eligibility for Free Trade Agreements and other trade preference programs to support cost savings
- Research and assign Schedule B and HTS classifications for import and export shipments
- Resolve U.S. Census warnings and support accurate trade reporting
- Contribute to import and export process improvements, operational initiatives, and compliance projects
- Support post-entry and post-departure audits to strengthen trade compliance and reduce risk
- Develop and follow effective procedures to manage project timelines, priorities, and stakeholder communication
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with international trade compliance responsibilities
- Knowledge of U.S. Customs entry processes and partner government agency regulations
- Strong working knowledge of CBP regulations and harmonized tariff as well as PGA regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply/chain logistics, international business
- Experience in AES Filings, and U.S. Customs clearance processes
- Familiarity with Global Trade Management system (GTM)
- Ability to strategically assess a situation and problem solve as needed
- Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem management skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills

It’s important to note that per the Customs Regulations, specifically 19 CFR 111.53(e), a Customs Broker is required to receive written approval from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) if it knowingly employs any person who has been convicted of a felony. For this reason and unless prohibited by state or local law, we will perform our initial background check and an annual check for any person employed in a Global Forwarding Customs Brokerage Department.

Compensation Range
$50,200.00 - $79,600.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
