Position Summary
Are you a results-driven business development professional with a passion for driving growth in the SMB, Corporate, and Education sectors?As the Online (B2B/EPP) Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a consultative selling approach, deep sector knowledge, and the ability to manage high-velocity sales cycles.
Role and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
Strategic business development
Prospect and qualify leads to build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for both SMB and EPP, across all sectors.
Conduct effective qualifying sales calls and presentations, adapting your approach to the specific needs of each audience.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive new business growth
Account management and growth (SMB & EPP Partners)
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key corporate clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
Develop a deep understanding of client business goals to provide tailored solutions and act as a trusted advisor.
Identify and pursue up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within existing corporate and education sector accounts.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with clients and executives to review performance and align on strategic objectives.
Enhanced Partnership Program (EPP) operations
Manage EPP operations and continuously improve the platform and overall customer journey.
Drive EPP awareness, traffic, and employee engagement through targeted marketing and communication activities.
Plan and execute competitive promotions, product offers, and campaigns aligned with business priorities.
High-velocity sales (SMB)
Manage a high volume of leads and a short, fast-paced sales cycle, focusing on efficiency and closing new business.
Provide a high level of support and customer service to SMB clients, ensuring their needs are met quickly and effectively.
Educate SMB customers on the value of our solutions through consultative selling techniques.
Handle objections and guide prospective SMB buyers through the sales process.
Internal collaboration and reporting
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product, and customer success to ensure a seamless client experience, to align strategies, and to ensure effective execution of EPP initiatives.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities.
Analyze performance across partners, products, and campaigns and translate insights into actionable improvement plans.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have/be able to:
Bachelor's Degree holder with at least 8 years of relevant work experience
Must be a Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably in Business or Marketing
Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in eCommerce, Digital Sales, B2B/B2B2C Sales, Partner Management or Business Development
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and negotiate with key decision-makers
Has strong stakeholder management skills, both externally (SMB/EPP partners, agency management) and internally (business units, operations, marketing, sales)
Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure. Demonstrated project management skills
Able to be resourceful and can use your problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and develop creative solutions.
Know-how in sales forecasting is a plus
Must be willing to work on-site daily (McKinley, Taguig)
