Job Description

Position Overview:

The Senior Marketing Specialist, OneSource is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and communication initiatives that drive customer adoption, retention, engagement, and growth. This role serves as a key liaison between Sales, Operations, Service teams, and customers, translating business objectives into effective marketing programs, implementation communications, customer events, and localized campaigns. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, customer-focused marketer with strong project management skills and experience executing integrated marketing strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate sales goals and business priorities into actionable marketing objectives, campaigns, and project plans.
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver clear, consistent communications for internal stakeholders, service teams, and enterprise customers.
  • Create customized implementation and launch communications for OneSource site deployments.
  • Plan and execute onsite customer meetings and events to increase OneSource adoption and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Travel to customer locations to build relationships across multiple business units and stakeholder groups.
  • Proactively identify customer and business partner needs, expectations, and requirements, and respond effectively to feedback.
  • Recommend and implement communication improvements that enhance customer engagement and program effectiveness.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve service delivery and customer experience.
  • Manage projects from planning through execution, providing regular status updates and resolving issues to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Partner with customer site leaders to develop and execute targeted communications, promotions, and regional activities that support upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders to create and implement account retention marketing plans for strategic accounts.
  • Coordinate logistics and execution for OneSource customer events and engagement programs.
  • Independently manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and execute a variety of marketing tactics.
  • Apply creativity and innovation to achieve business objectives and improve campaign performance.
  • Support lead-generation initiatives through digital marketing strategies and campaign execution.
  • Adapt and localize global marketing campaigns to meet regional market needs.
  • Assess sales enablement requirements and collaborate with marketing partners to develop supporting materials and tools.
  • Monitor marketing budgets and measure effectiveness of assigned programs and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Candidates with a scientific degree must demonstrate relevant communications or marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications, campaign execution, or related marketing roles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B marketing, customer engagement, account-based marketing, or customer retention programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with digital marketing and CRM platforms, including HubSpot and Salesforce, with knowledge of email marketing, lead generation, landing pages, forms, campaign tracking, Google Analytics, SEM, and PPC.
  • Strong copywriting and content development skills.
  • Experience developing and executing lead-generation campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the scientific, laboratory, analytical technology, or related healthcare/life sciences markets preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to adapt to changing business priorities while maintaining timelines and deliverables.
  • Collaborative team player with a proven ability to work across functions and organizational boundaries.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities.
  • Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong customer focus.

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $85,000 to $100,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
