The Onboarding Operations Associate – EU will play a critical role in welcoming and integrating small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into Shift4’s ecosystem. This individual will manage the end-to-end onboarding process, serve as the primary contact for onboarding inquiries, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition for new merchants and partners.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new merchants and partners.
  • Handle post-onboarding change requests from merchants and partners.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the onboarding system.
  • Handle cases efficiently, maintaining service-level expectations.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather required documentation and information.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related inquiries and issues.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Support, Product Development, and other internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding experiences.
  • Identify process gaps and areas for improvement and escalate recommendations appropriately.

  • Excellent customer relationship and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle high volumes of requests and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Legal studies considered an asset.
  • Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn new systems and platforms.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a service-oriented role.
