About you:

You will be an experienced IT professional with management experience who knows how to lead a team of consultants and project managers. You'll be focused on excellent project delivery, customer service and driving a high utilisation, high performance culture. With good commercial awareness you'll be able to help create new opportunities for services revenue, create efficiencies though automation and digital onboarding. As a leader within professional services you'll act as a project sponsor and escalation route for your teams projects. By joining Access you'll be working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and have many opportunities for development and growth. This position is aligned with US business hours to provide effective support to our US-based teams and customers. Candidates must be comfortable working in this time zone.

Day-to-day, you will:

Mentor, coach, support and advise a team of software delivery consultants and project managers. 

• Forecast and be responsible for the revenue generated by your team. 

• Optimise the scheduling and project delivery of work assigned to your team. 

• Generate Self-Gen service orders from within the team.

• Approve Expense Claims, Holiday Requests, Equipment Purchases (e.g., Laptops, mobile phones etc)

• Be the natural “go to” person for everyone in the team.

• Set and agree the objectives and development plans for your team members.

• Resolve issues within your team.

• Act as project sponsor for the projects delivered by your team.

• Escalation management for project issues within your team 

• Help with the reduction of churn. 

• Attend consultant managers meetings.

• Introduce new flightpaths and other productised services offerings.

• Represent professional services on product ‘go to market’ calls.

Skills and Experience:

Strong technical skills including MS Office.

• Good grasp of IT terminology and implementation methodology.

• Analytical and reporting skills.   

• Product knowledge or domain experience of one or more of our solutions.

• Project delivery and/or project management experience and understanding. 

• Commercial awareness  

• Ability to influence a wide number of senior stakeholders both within the region and globally. 

• A high degree of self-awareness and judgement, and ability to take a personal stand on issues when required. 

• A strong communicator, both in writing, spoken communications and presentations
