Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Onboarding & Employee Experience Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in delivering a seamless and welcoming experience for all new hires, ensuring they feel prepared, supported, and excited to start their journey with us. You’ll collaborate closely with HR, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams to streamline the onboarding process, handle documentation, and serve as the go-to person for all things related to new employee integration

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all onboarding logistics, including new hire paperwork, orientation schedules, and welcome materials.

  • Conduct engaging and informative new hire orientations, both virtual and in-person.

  • Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed, including background checks and employment eligibility verification.

  • Partners with IT, Facilities, and hiring managers to ensure all tools and access are ready for day one.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for new hires, providing support and guidance through their onboarding journey.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding experience based on feedback and evolving company needs.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with internal policies and employment laws.

  • Support employer branding and employee engagement initiatives during the onboarding process.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

  • Proficient with MS Office suite or related software.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Work Experience, Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.

  • At least two years related experience required.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • This is a hybrid role based in Brentwood, TN requiring four (4) days per week in office minimum.

  • Primarily office-based with a typical business setting. This role may involve collaboration in virtual settings and participation in team meetings. Occasional off-site visits to other company locations may be required.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.

  • Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of up to 15 pounds.
