Onboarding Associate Position Summary 

SRS Acquiom is currently recruiting for an Onboarding Associate, reporting to the Senior Director, Contract Administration. Under general direction, the Onboarding Associate is responsible for overseeing all functions as it relates to the onboarding process of new M&A deals.  

The role also requires development and maintenance of processes related to client communication and support. 

This position requires fielding complex analytical questions across business lines and being able to communicate effectively and professionally, and document findings in the internal database.  

This position requires a motivated, highly detail oriented, individual with a strong work ethic.  

This person should have excellent oral and written communication, analysis, and documentation skills. 

This position can be located in CO, MN, NC, or can be fully remote 

The salary range for this position is between $57k - $72,500k, depending on level of experience. 

 Onboarding Associate Primary Responsibilities 

  • Act as primary point of contact for deal onboarding inquiries as it relates to the Shareholder Representative Services product. 
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with sell- or buy-side M&A attorneys for post-closing follow ups for various internal groups. 
  • Perform wire callback verification for SRS Acquiom products.  
  • Track all pending and closed transactions. 
  • Assist with executing agreements. 
  • Onboard new deals by collecting M&A documents and materials and uploading them into our system of record. 
  • Responsible for collecting fees and funding from M&A transaction closing. 
  • Timely respond to questions from clients regarding accounts and other issues that arise post-close. 
  • Facilitate special projects related to onboarding M&A deals 
  • Assist internal teams with closing/closed deal-related tasks as needed. 
  • Complete full reconciliations by reviewing the system of record and compare to reporting to ensure no task is missed. 
  • Compile, analyze and send report to Senior leadership. 
  • Collaborate with internal groups to ensure fees and wires are routed appropriately. 
  • Other administrative or project related duties as assigned. 

 Onboarding Associate Required Qualifications & Skills 

  • 2-3 years experience in the financial industry. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey sometimes complex aspects of a deal to Shareholders effectively and timely in a professional manner 
  • Previous experience prioritizing multiple tasks that require a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced office environment 
  • Working to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Required; NetSuite experience would be added benefit, but not required 
  • Can work within deadlines and complete work in timely manner 
  • Takes ownership of issues and follows through to resolution 
  • Can work independently or as part of a team as the issue requires 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills 
  • The ability to manage multiple time sensitive tasks in a challenging, fast paced, deadline driven, and fluid environment

Onboarding Associate Physical Requirements/Special Demands 

  • Must be available to work within Denver, Colorado Mountain standard business hours 
  • Ability to work irregular hours such as nights/weekends or after hours may be required 
  • Work in fast paced environment 
  • Ability to travel to corporate office in Denver, Colorado up to 25% of the time 
  • Standard office environment (noise level of standard office environment) where may need to remain in a stationary position of more than 75% of the time 
  • Must be able to operate standard office productivity machinery and equipment including a phone, computer/laptop, mouse and keyboard, photocopy machine, scanner, and e-fax 
  • Work on computer for the majority of regular workdays
