What You'll Bring:
A forward-thinking technical leader who combines strong data onboarding expertise with an API-first mindset and a passion for building scalable, cloud-based ecosystems. You’re able to balance operational detail with strategic vision, enabling your team to deliver consistent, high-quality activation outcomes across an ever-evolving adtech landscape.
- 7+ years of industry experience in adtech, martech, or data onboarding; 2+ years in a leadership capacity for technical or client-facing teams.
- Strong understanding of data identity, audience segmentation, and taxonomy frameworks, including mapping, normalization, and hierarchical transformation across DSP/DMP ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable technical workflows, with strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Track record of process automation, including building reusable onboarding templates, scheduling pipelines, and implementing monitoring/alerting strategies.
- Cloud fluency across AWS, GCS or Snowflake ecosystems: experience designing and optimizing data ingestion, storage, and transformation pipelines (S3, Lambda, and SQL-based transformation).
- Fundamental understanding of ETL core concepts, best practices, governance, and performance tracking.
- Experience mentoring technical staff and leading cross-functional initiatives that reduce delivery timelines and improve onboarding reliability.
- Proven expertise with API-driven integrations, including REST/GraphQL architectures, authentication standards (OAuth2, API Key), payload optimization, and error-handling frameworks.
- Understanding of audience activation APIs (e.g., Google, The Trade Desk, LiveRamp, VideoAmp, etc.) and measurement interoperability.
- Experience integrating observability frameworks for API-based.
- Hands-on with Python, SQL, or Airflow for data orchestration.
- Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, and IAB standards).
Impact You'll Make:
- Lead and scale the Data Enablement function — owning the end-to-end process from partner intake and data mapping through delivery validation and performance optimization.
- Architect and oversee onboarding workflows leveraging APIs and cloud-native tools to drive automation, reliability, and repeatability.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define feature requirements and feedback loops for configuration & troubleshooting tooling, KPI tracking, onboarding APIs, taxonomy services, and cloud strategy implementation.
- Own SLA performance for high-priority client and partner deliveries, using data-driven metrics to monitor match rates, ingestion success, and delivery latency.
- Mentor and develop team members, building a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Represent the Activation function in roadmap discussions and strategic initiatives, ensuring business alignment with TU’s evolving data and identity ecosystem.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Benefits:

Pay Scale Information :The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $168,750 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
