As the Sales Analyst, your role encompasses responsibilities aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our wholesale business. You will play a key role in analyzing sales data to identify valuable trends and opportunities. This role will support multiple lines of business, specifically specialty retail, live TV shopping, and other wholesale accounts.
Responsibilities
- Support management team with data-driven analysis of omni-channel wholesale business
- Gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from sales data, trends, and forecasts
- Work closely with sales leaders, finance, and planning to analyze sales fundamentals
- Facilitate new and ongoing business reporting needs such as weekly reporting and quarterly updates to cross-functional teams and leaders
- Summarize and track product data across all channels
Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills
- 1-3 years in sales analytics, finance, or similar function, preferably in CPG
- Experience working with specialty retailers required. TV Shopping experience a huge plus
- Excellent analytic and computer skills, strong communication ability
- Expert in Excel. Knowledge of ERP systems required
- Self-starter that thrives on using data to make insightful business decisions
- Practiced user of retailer, distributor, and partner portals to support data gathering and analysis
- Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills
- Communicates effectively and has strong presentation skills
- Works independently using project management skills
- Builds strong working relationships and has exceptional leadership skills
- Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
