As an Associate / Engagement role, you will:
Break down complex business problems into clear, discrete workstreams and tasks
Identify the critical drivers of a problem and guide junior consultants to focus on what matters most
Plan and execute rigorous analyses, ensuring quality, structure, and speed of delivery
Diagnose core issues within complex analyses and translate findings into practical, compelling recommendations
Work closely with clients and project team members to move work forward day to day
Manage small teams, coordinating priorities, timelines, and deliverables to get the work done
Provide valued insight and subject-matter perspective, becoming a trusted contributor for clients and colleagues
What you will bring

At least 5 -8 years of relevant Financial Services experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organisation) or with industry experience from a strategy department or inhouse consulting
In-depth knowledge of the sector, either gained through experience in the industry or in other consultancy houses
Strong analytical and synthesis skills and ability to conduct and leverage sophisticated analyses to identify trends, draw conclusions and present recommendations
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings
Know how to take the initiative, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and put the ones you’ve already got to good use
Not just intelligence, but creativity too: you’ll be ready to come up with novel ideas to solve our clients’ biggest problems
Have an aptitude for analytical work, like sniffing out clues in massive data sets or hunting down the key issues in a hugely complex challenge
