About the role
The OHC Customer Marketing Manager is a pivotal commercial role within Haleon Saudi Arabia, responsible for shaping and executing the Customer Marketing strategy for the Oral Health Care portfolio across Mass Market, Pharmacy, Wholesaler, Hospital and emerging channels in the Kingdom. The role is accountable for driving category growth, strengthening brand equity at the point of purchase, and delivering superior in‑store execution that maximizes conversion and Net Sales.
This position requires a category‑driven commercial operator with strong experience in customer development, category management, or shopper‑focused commercial roles within a leading FMCG multinational. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of how Saudi retailers make category decisions, evaluate supplier proposals, and shape the shopper journey across physical and digital environments. The incumbent partners closely with Sales, Brand teams, and Digital Commerce to convert category insights into customer‑specific execution plans that deliver measurable commercial impact. The role reports to the Commercial Excellence Lead.
Role Responsibilities
Lead the end‑to‑end Customer Marketing and Category agenda for the OHC portfolio across all channels, ensuring category strategies are translated into winning customer‑specific execution.
Develop annual customer and channel plans for OHC, aligned with brand priorities, retailer strategies, and category growth drivers.
Build and deploy category‑led selling stories using syndicated data (Nielsen, IQVIA), EPOS, shopper insights, and retailer analytics to influence customer decisions.
Partner with Sales to embed OHC category strategies into, covering assortment, visibility, pricing, and promotional recommendations.
Own the design and execution of in‑store visibility solutions (POSM, planograms, secondary placements) that enhance category presence and drive shopper conversion.
Evaluate the effectiveness of customer and category initiatives through clear KPIs (incremental sales, ROI, conversion uplift, share of shelf) and recommend optimisation actions.
Act as the OHC category expert in customer engagements, supporting Sales with insights, toolkits, and execution frameworks tailored to each retailer.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to ensure alignment on NPD launches, assortment changes, and visibility requirements.
Support budgeting and forecasting for customer marketing investments, ensuring disciplined allocation and tracking of spend.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience in Category Management, Customer Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Trade Marketing, or Commercial Excellence within a top‑tier FMCG multinational operating in the KSA market.
Strong understanding of the Saudi retail landscape, with direct experience engaging with modern trade and pharmacy retailers
Proven track record of delivering measurable commercial impact through category growth initiatives, customer‑specific execution, or shopper‑driven interventions.
Demonstrated ability to translate category insights into customer‑tailored plans that drive conversion across offline and online channels.
Strong analytical skills with hands‑on experience using Nielsen, IQVIA, EPOS, and internal sell‑in data to build category stories and identify growth opportunities.
Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence Sales, Marketing, and retailer stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
Experience managing POSM development and in‑store visibility execution
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Oral Health Care or broader Personal Care categories
Category management or shopper marketing certification from a leading FMCG multinational.
MBA or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Business, or related fields.
Proven capability in leading cross‑functional commercial projects or contributing to regional capability builds.
