At PurposeCare, we're redefining home-based care by bringing together Home Health and Home Care services to help clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. We're looking for an organized, collaborative, and service-focused Operations Manager to help lead the daily operations of our Niles and Granger offices.
In this role, you'll partner closely with agency leadership to oversee administrative operations, support office staff, improve operational processes, and help ensure an exceptional experience for our patients, caregivers, referral partners, and employees. What You'll Do- Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of administrative office operations across our Niles and Granger locations.
- Lead, coach, and develop office staff through performance management, ongoing training, and professional development.
- Oversee key operational functions including:
- Intake and prior authorizations
- Administrative support
- Employee onboarding and orientation
- Employee file and credential maintenance
- Partner with the Administrator and Area Director of Operations to achieve agency operational and financial goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and community partners.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of field staff.
- Ensure employee records remain complete, accurate, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
- Support payroll, billing, audits, and administrative reporting activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, referral partners, and internal teams.
- Assist with continuous process improvement initiatives to support agency growth and operational excellence.
- Split regular office hours between the Niles and Granger offices.
Within your first 6–12 months, you will:
- Build strong relationships with agency leadership, office staff, and referral partners.
- Ensure administrative operations run efficiently and compliantly.
- Improve onboarding and employee file accuracy.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and customer-focused office culture.
- Support continued agency growth through exceptional operational execution.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of leadership or management experience.
- Experience working within a healthcare environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and operational compliance.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and participate in on-call responsibilities as needed.
