How you'll help us achieve it

As an Office Manager, reporting to the HR and Facilities Lead, you will be responsible for the efficient functioning of our Kinshasa office through various administrative, logistic, and office management tasks. 

In this role, you'll:

  • Manage all staff record maintenance. 
  • Coordinate and oversee administrative duties and logistics in the office, ensuring good working and living conditions and smooth office operations on a day-to-day basis.
  • Oversee and support domestic and international travel, including flight, hotel, and car rental reservations. 
  • Deal with confidentiality with correspondence, complaints, and queries. 
  • Support the people operations team in sourcing and maintaining quality facilities for Wave. 
  • Monitor and manage the canteen and the vendors. 
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized work environment in Support by planning deep cleaning and regular meetings with cleaners. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local service and resource providers. 
  • Follow up on bill payment for Niger facility utilities, including but not limited to office (electricity, water, canteen). 
  • Manage the vehicle fleet. 
  • Organize and execute company events in Congo (DRC). 
  • Coordinate office room bookings for meetings and training.

  • Location: You'll work from our office in Kinshasa.
  • Work authorization in Congo (DRC) is required.
  • This is a fixed-term position (6-months CDD).

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or professional training in business administration, human resources, or a related field. 
  • Fluent in French and a very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Computer proficiency.  
  • 5 years experience in an administrative / office management / HR role. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize.
