ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Office Manager in Sofia, you’ll play a central role in ensuring an efficient, engaging, and welcoming office environment for our 500 employees, leading our existing team of 2.
This is a hands-on role in which you will both lead and take the role of any team member whenever necessary: from day-to-day administration of our offices, to initiating and leading company and office-level projects, including events and initiatives. Our office life is rich and exciting and we are constantly looking to make it even better.
Reporting directly to the Head of Workspace in Berlin, with a dotted line to our leadership team in Sofia, you’ll oversee and develop a range of office management and workplace experience functions, supported by the existing team.
- Office Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our Sofia office, creating a productive, seamless experience for all employees. Streamline office processes to enhance efficiency, address issues proactively, and continually improve workflows.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with local vendors and suppliers, negotiating terms and managing contracts to ensure consistent, high-quality service for all office needs.
- Employee Experience: Design and implement initiatives to elevate the day-to-day employee experience, focusing on well-being, satisfaction, and productivity. From maintaining top-notch amenities to facilitating a welcoming environment, you’ll make the office feel like a home base for all.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with both local VP leaders and the Berlin workspace team to ensure that Bulgaria’s offices align with company standards and meet the needs of all stakeholders. You’ll be an advocate for employees’ needs and a strategic partner to leadership.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor the two team members, setting clear goals and ensuring professional growth while maintaining high standards in workplace operations.
- Event Planning & Coordination: Organize and support office events, team activities, and other engagement initiatives to foster a strong sense of community and team spirit.
- Benefits administration: Lead the smooth administration and optimization of employee benefits, such as Multisport program, birthday gifts, breakfast in the office, etc.
