Your Role:

The Office Manager is responsible for accomplishing activities and tasks to ensure the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. The task of the office manager will include maintaining and coordinating office activities, facilities, key business admin needs and supporting the departments as assigned.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative support for ongoing key business tasks/projects specific to assigned departments.
  • Work with managers to oversee ongoing and long-term projects and/or campaigns that involve complex details and advanced administrative duties, as assigned
  • Manages and performs daily administrative tasks, including but not limited to ordering office supplies/meeting supplies, shipping/receiving, coordinate facilities requests, purchase requisitions, expense reports, coordinate with HR for interview, filing, photocopying and serving as vendor liaison.
  • Analyze problems, determine approach and comply and analyze, data as required.
  • Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinate New Hire administrative tasks
  • Coordinate and execute meeting plans for internal and external customers.
  • Process and enter information and applicable data into a variety of databases and spreadsheets.
  • Maintain external supplier inventory and ordering.
  • Other executive support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree required and 5-8 years progressive office administration experience.
  • Knowledge of office systems and processes. Experience in life sciences highly desirable. 

Skills:

  • Ability to operate a computer with Windows™ operating system, Outlook™ email, internet, CRM databases, and basic MS Office™ products.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This job is performed in a temperature controlled, handicap-accessible facility without exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures. Generally, this job is performed in an office environment.

The hiring range for this position is expected to fall between $28.69 - $33.77/hour, reflecting the range candidates can reasonably expect to be considered for at time of offer, based on factors such as experience, internal equity, location, and qualifications.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of considerations, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above range represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.

In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions may also be eligible for additional compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
