The Role

The Office Manager is responsible for creating a welcoming, well-run, and engaging experience for OXIO's Mexico City team.

You will oversee day-to-day office operations, manage vendors and workplace services, support employees and local leaders, and coordinate events and gatherings. You will also provide light administrative support to our People and Finance teams.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, resourceful, service-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. The ideal candidate takes ownership, anticipates needs, and enjoys creating an excellent workplace experience for others.


The Difference You Will Make
Office & Workplace Operations
  • Own the day-to-day operation of the Mexico City office, including supplies, catering, meeting spaces, mail, deliveries, cleaning, security, and facilities.

  • Manage office vendors and service providers and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and other workplace needs.

  • Track office expenses and support budget management.

  • Serve as a welcoming and reliable point of contact for employees, leaders, and visitors.


Employee & Administrative Support
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, equipment distribution and retrieval, and system access.

  • Support Mexico benefits administration by coordinating employee information and changes with external providers.

  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine workplace and administrative questions, escalating HR matters to the People team as appropriate.

  • Provide administrative support to Finance, including invoices, expenses, vendor payments, and office-related expenses.

Events & Employee Experience
  • Coordinate team lunches, office events, leadership visits, and other employee gatherings.

  • Help create opportunities for employees to connect and build community.

  • Partner with the People team and local leadership on employee engagement initiatives.


Your Expertise
  • 4+ years of experience in office management, workplace experience, hospitality, operations, administration, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Experience managing vendors, coordinating events, or overseeing office operations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.

  • Service-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently.

  • Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and discretion.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and workplace productivity tools.

Nice to Have
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.

  • Experience supporting a global organization.

  • Experience with Mexico payroll, benefits, or external HR providers.

  • Familiarity with BambooHR, Slack, Confluence, or Asana.
