Salary: $45,000–$65,000 (Based on Experience)
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Manager / Bookkeeper to join our team in Charlottesville, VA. This onsite role is responsible for supporting daily office operations while managing key bookkeeping and accounting functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Perform account reconciliations and support bookkeeping activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and office documentation
- Communicate with vendors and track payments
- Support daily office operations and administrative functions
- Answer calls, manage emails, and handle correspondence
- Assist leadership with reports and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous office management and/or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Experience with invoice processing, AP, and AR required
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting or bookkeeping software is a plus
