  • This role is based in Jerrabomberra, on the border of NSW/ACT approx. 30 mins from Canberra CBD**
  • All candidates must have a valid visa for Australia - Sponsorship is unavailable for this role
  • 20 hours per week - This role may suit school-hour availability or flexible to a university schedule.


The Role

We're looking for a casual administrative all-rounder to support the Shared Services Lead and help keep the business side of Samsara Eco running smoothly. Based in Jerrabomberra, this role supports day-to-day office operations, helps remotely coordinate the Sydney office, assists with onboarding and offboarding, supports People & Culture activities, and provides practical administration support across the team.


What you'll own

  • Office Operations: Support the Shared Services Lead with day-to-day office workflows, office supplies, shared kitchen and amenities stock, systems, procedures, documentation, and practical administration across Jerrabomberra and Sydney.
  • Facilities and Vendors: Coordinate maintenance, cleaning, meeting rooms, facilities requests, suppliers, service providers, and building contacts.
  • People & Culture support: Assist with onboarding, induction, offboarding, employee engagement, events, celebrations, culture moments, and simple P&C communications.
  • Records and Compliance: Help keep company records, licences, policies, WHS/OHS documentation, and office records accurate, organised, and easy to access.
  • Team coordination: Provide practical support to leaders and team members, including calendars, meeting rooms, internal communications, scheduling, and follow-up where needed.
  • Finance and Administration: Support day-to-day financial administration, including processing invoices, purchase orders, expense claims and company credit card reconciliations. Assist with supplier onboarding, maintaining accurate records, tracking office-related expenditure against budgets, and liaising with the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and documentation.
  • Travel and Events: Support travel coordination, offsites, team gatherings, and celebrations, including accommodation, transport, itineraries, and meeting logistics where required.

What you bring

  • Experience in office management, administration, or operations, ideally in a fast-moving or scaling company.
  • Experience coordinating and communicating with vendors, facilities, suppliers, and day-to-day office services.
  • Confidence working with employees at all levels, with the judgement and discretion that requires.
  • Strong systems instincts, confidence troubleshooting day-to-day issues, and a knack for building simple processes where none exist or improving what's already there.
  • Calm, clear communication and the ability to manage competing priorities without dropping the detail.
  • A proactive, forward-thinking approach, with the ability to pre-empt needs, spot issues before they arise, and use initiative to keep things moving.
