Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement Health and Safety programs HIRAC and JHA for site activities
- Conduct toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and inspections
- Monitor site compliance with safety rules and laws
- Investigate incidents and prepare safety reports
- Coordinate with safety team and management
Requirements:
- With experience as Certified Safety Officer 4 (DOLE-accredited training). Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in a BPO, manufacturing or industrial environment
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Knowledgeable in HIRAC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment & Control) and JHA (Job Hazard Analysis)
- In-depth knowledge of local safety regulations, OSHA standards, and environmental compliance requirements
- Familiar with DOLE OSH standards, toolbox meetings, safety audits, and incident reporting
- Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring workplace safety programs
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills >Excellent communication and training skills to conduct safety orientations and workshops
- Ability to enforce safety policies and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple safety initiatives simultaneously
- Good communication skills and can coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and workers
