The OEM Sales Manager will develop and maintain relationships with a portfolio of existing clients to gain a deep understanding of key requirements. This individual will find new accounts by continuously proposing solutions that meet customer objectives to build and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline.

OEM Sales Team is responsible for driving specifications and supporting OEMs with a focus on the HVAC, food and beverage and pools and spa equipment manufacturers, and prospect additional markets. Primary products are Hartland contactors and transformers, relays, breakers, and controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains strong relationships with a specific group of customers; responsible for issuing sales quotes, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining customer relationship. (40%)

  • Creates sales strategies to maintain and increase pipeline. Understands customer and/or market barriers and develops solutions to overcome barriers. (40%)

  • Increases understanding of customer accounts, particularly around the customer’s business strategy, purchasing behavior, decision-makers, barriers, and competition. (10%)

  • Defines sales targets for accounts and ensures alignment with business unit goals. (10%)

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:


Bachelor or University Degree
Experience:

  • Five to seven years of experience in Sales - desired

  • Experience with HVAC Industry or related - nice to have but not required

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • High attention to detail
